Testimonies
They welcomed a missionary team from Victorious Life Church in Moundville, Alabama. They took them to the mountains of Cerro Viejo, where they ministered with courage and unity. They were able to share the Gospel in every classroom at the local school, pray with each student, and distribute reading glasses and prescription glasses through their eye clinic. More than 500 students (from kindergarten through sixth grade) heard the Good News, and about 200 patients were seen at the clinic. Pastor Josh and his translator shared Christ with each person, and many made the decision to follow Jesus!

What we are believing for
Please pray for her, as her mother had to undergo surgery and she and her baby traveled to the United States to stay with her for a month to support her. This trip was unexpected: they were able to raise funds for the plane tickets, but they are asking for prayers so that they will have the resources they need this month while they are away from home.

What we are believing for
They as for prayer because during the last week of August, they had to decide to postpone the September Bible school due to a lack of students—but where one door closes, God opens another. They told us that they believe it is not the right time for Madrid. However, they are preparing the Bible school that they will hold in the Canary Islands next year in April—and they already have committed students and staff from several countries who will help them. They ask for prayer that God will prepare the way now so that more people can enroll in the school for next year.

They send us this testimony:
After eight years of setting up, taking down, and overcoming protests, pandemics, and evictions, our church, Faith Family Church, is about to get its first permanent home.
After an eviction just over a year ago, we began a relentless effort to raise over a million dollars for a church facility. Through fundraising dinners, a building campaign, and several trips to the United States to share the vision, we raised over $400,000!
Although we hadn't achieved our goal, a few months ago we explored the options in the area with our real estate agent and only found a small commercial space measuring 465 square meters, which required a complete renovation.
Then, suddenly, our real estate agent said, “I don't know if I should say this because it hasn't been made public yet, but my church is moving in a few months.” We asked, “Where is your church?” It turned out to be across the street from where we currently meet, in the heart of Tseung Kwan O. We immediately set up a meeting with the pastor, and they were happy to meet us, as they were looking for someone to take over their premises so they wouldn't have to restore them and leave them empty. Now we've become good friends!
Now that we no longer needed a major renovation, we could focus solely on renting. But there was still one more challenge. The facility was 13,000 square feet, and the owner wanted to rent it out intact! With current rental prices, we couldn't afford to rent it all unless we offered them a ridiculously low price.
We prepared an offer, braced ourselves for ridicule, and presented it to the owner. There was no laughter... and, after several rounds of negotiation, they accepted it!
There are still details to finalize and permits to obtain, but Faith Family Church should be able to take possession in just a few months. This is a big step of faith. But it is possible thanks to the support we have received and the ongoing support we continue to receive.
It has been a long journey, but God is so faithful! And to those of you who pray for us and have contributed to this project, there are no words to express how grateful we are!
