Since before their marriage in 2001, Vidar and Catherine Ligard shared a common calling: to bring the Gospel to Africa. Their trips to Kenya began in 1999, where they organized seminars for leaders and pastors, planting in them a desire to go deeper into the Word of God.
It was during one of these trips that Vidar realized that the spiritual hunger of African pastors went beyond occasional seminars. With this conviction, in April 2005 he founded a Bible school in Kenya, a project that has grown to eight campuses and has recently expanded to the Congo.
Their greatest dream is to see a transformation in Africa through the Gospel, impacting not only the spiritual realm, but also people's daily lives. They believe that the knowledge of the Word can break cycles of poverty, empower communities and form leaders that impact every sector of society.
Today, their ministry continues to grow, training hundreds of leaders who bring hope and redemption to their communities. Vidar and Catherine continue to dedicate their lives to seeing Africa flourish under the light of Christ.
