The Gospel always finds its way when there are hearts willing to obey, even in the midst of opposition.

WHEN THE WORD FINDS ITS LANGUAGE

FISCHER FAMILY — HONK KONG

What we are believing for

We are asked to join together in prayer that the directors of Missions in China will receive wisdom in their leadership, in order to reach the Chinese people who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus.

Testimonies

Janis and Naiah Fischer recently welcomed a missionary team from the United States and accompanied them to Beijing, where they delivered USB drives containing dozens of gigabytes of Christian resources in Mandarin, including abundant material for children. Much of this content was compiled by young Generation Z missionaries.

The team met with Sister S, director of a Christian kindergarten that faces constant threats from the government to close its school. Despite the pressure, she affirms that she cannot abandon her work for the sake of the gospel. Upon reviewing the material received, she expressed deep gratitude and amazement, highlighting the great spiritual value of the resources and affirming that she will treasure them.

Previously, teaching was done using Christian videos in English, which made it difficult for children to connect with the message. Now, children in China's capital can learn about Jesus in their own language, thanks to these resources.

The team also met with Brother Y, who works with underground house churches. He pointed out the urgent need for Christian materials in Chinese for children and received a USB drive that he will share with pastors of house churches.

In addition to ministerial meetings, the team enjoyed the local culture and visited iconic sites around the country. Thanks to those who pray for and support missions in China, the gospel continues to reach the Chinese people, strengthening believers both in Hong Kong and in mainland China.
