BIO
From the age of 16, Josie Rogers knew her life was destined for missions. At 17, on her first trip to Peru, she clearly felt her calling and decided to equip herself at Rhema Bible School, preparing for three years to dedicate her life to the service of others.
Between 2012 and 2015, when he was only 25 years old, he undertook a journey to the Brazilian Amazon, where his heart was united with the Ticuna community. Together with a team, she established churches and discipled new believers, sending several of them to study at Rhema Colombia, with the vision of expanding the gospel among the indigenous communities.
Her calling took her further. In Uganda, she worked in teaching and leadership training, as well as overseeing an educational program for children. But in 2017, God put a new challenge on her heart: the Middle East. She settled in Iraq, where together with her husband Amjed, she has served Syrian refugees, leading Bible studies, discipleship and services in the midst of a 100% Muslim community, facing persecution for preaching Jesus.
Today, her ministry Launch International impacts Syria, Kenya, Uganda and the Amazon, combining humanitarian aid, evangelism, church planting and discipleship. Despite the challenges, Josie continues to bring God's love to those who need it most, no matter the distance or risk.
