From a young age, he felt a special calling for Africa and sought inspiration in the legacy of missionaries like Reinhard Bonnke. In 2008, he began his work in Ethiopia and, since then, has traveled to countless villages, preaching the message of salvation. To date, he has conducted 111 crusades, where multitudes have experienced God's love through healings, deliverances and the filling of the Holy Spirit.

When not on the mission field, Ekkehard works tirelessly in Germany to raise funds to continue these crusades. In addition, he has dedicated himself to translating books and resources on prayer, healing and the Holy Spirit, with the goal of strengthening the faith of the communities he reaches.

His greatest dream is to establish the “Faith Academy” in Addis Ababa, a Christian training center that will serve as a church and training ground for new leaders, ensuring that the gospel continues to spread in Ethiopia for generations to come.
