On this trip, we will support the missionary José Bernabé Pérez. en Ahuachapan.

We will do urban evangelism and discipleship, support local churches in strategic places in the city, and carry out social and cultural activities.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Pagar la primera cuota: 164 USD / $600.000 COP

  • Authorization letter: Download it, fill it out and attach it to the form. Keep in mind that without this signed letter, you will not be able to join the training group.
  • Send a photo of your ID card or identity document, and a photo of your passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel, to the email address. trips@iamhelp.co
  • I Am Help waiver document (we will send it to you once the group is finalized).
  • Purchase mandatory travel insurance for the duration of the mission.
  • Yellow fever vaccine for travel to the Amazon, Kenya, and Argentina. (At least 10 days before the date of travel).
  • Vacunas muy recomendadas:

    • Para zonas rurales o selva: Rabia y profilaxis contra la malaria

MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS

You will train at I Am Help Academy with 12 training sessions virtually, starting from March to May. 

In June and July, you will have training in person, in: activities for children, young people, how to teach, evangelism, and plays. If you are near or in Bogotá, Colombia, the meetings are in-person.

If you are outside Bogotá, Colombia: all training sessions will be virtual. We will set up a WhatsApp group for each mission and send the link to the virtual meeting through this channel.

2 weeks before each trip we will have times of fasting and prayer. On Fridays during these two weeks, each mission team will lead live prayer at 5:00 a.m.

Start of training:

You can start training as soon as you fill out the form, your authorization letter, and the payment of your first quota of $600,000 COP, equivalent to $164 USD. This amount will be used to start paying your travel expenses.

In-person training dates:

June 1, 6, 13, 20, 22, 27 | July 4, 6, 11, 13

PAYMENTS

  • You can start making your payments as soon as you send your pastoral authorization. The deadline for sending this authorization is March.
  • El valor de los travel expenses incluye: alimentación (desayuno, almuerzo y comida) hospedaje, y transportes dentro de la misión.
  • Payment will only be valid once you send the receipt to the email address trips@iamhelp.co indicando en el cuerpo del correo: tu número de identidad, viaje misionero y número de cuota.
  • The value of the travel expenses described in each mission is the amount you will pay to I am help, using the different payment options. If you are going to divide your missionary payment into installments, you must start no later than the end of March, and from then on, each month, the installments must be paid no later than 10 days before your missionary trip.
  • The value of the first installment, corresponding to the month of March, is $600,000 COP or $164 USD. If you already have your pastoral authorization and confirmation from the I Am Help team validating this letter to your email, you can make your first payment.
  • You are responsible for purchasing your tickets, paying tourist taxes, visas (if applicable for the mission), and travel insurance during the mission.
